Our Thalassemia Center provides regular blood transfusions and iron chelation therapy to our registered Thalassemic patients. The patients are also supported for any other medical requirements.
Thalassemia is a hereditary blood disorder characterized by abnormal production of Hemoglobin. Our patients have a life expectancy of 30+ years, far ahead of the average life expectancy of Thalassemia patients in Pakistan.
Our Haemophilia Center provides plasma transfusions to our registered patients. The patients are also supported by a team of doctors who ensure their quality of life is not compromised by the condition.
Hemophilia is a hereditary blood disorder that severely reduces the ability of clotting blood. The defect lies in the coagulation mechanism of the blood and is characterised by a life-long tendency of excessive internal and external emission of blood.

I am a hemophile who has spent most of his life in the city of Karachi. The main issue that hemophiliacs face in this region is that there is no assistance or support provided by the official authorities to tackle this incapacitating condition.
